Sandwich panels Paneltech

Sandwich panel comprises of two steel sheets facings and an insulation core.

Panel facings are made of galvanized steel sheet, coated with polyester paint, thickness from 0,4 to 0,6 [mm] made in accordance with norm PN-EN 10346:2009. The steel we use to produce our panels are delivered by biggest world steel concerns.

The core of the panel can be made of polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) with density of 40 kg/m3, mineral wool with density of 100 kg/m3 or 85 kg/m3 (LITE) or expanded polystyrene (EPS) produced by our own factory.

Sandwich panels types

Wall sandwich panels

Wall sandwich panel is used to construct external walls and internal partitions in the single- or multiple-span shell structure. They can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. The wall sandwich panel is available in two types of connection – visible (S) and hidden joint (SU), where the link is hidden in a suitably profiled longitudinal edge of the panel. Our offer also includes the PWPIR-CH sandwich panels is intended for warehouse structures where internal temperatures reach minus 25°C.

ROOF SANDWICH PANELS

Roof sandwich panel is applied as roofs and roof covers. As in the case of wall panels, roof panels are available in several types of core: PUR, PIR, mineral wool and polystyrene. Unlike the wall panel, due to high stresses, the roof sandwich panel is made only on the outside with a trapezoidal profile, which ensures the appropriate stiffness of the panel.

more about panels

advantages of sandwich panels

Sandwich panels are solutions that ensure high quality, lightness and durability of building partitions. The advantages of self-supporting Paneltech sandwich panels are:

  • high mechanical strength,
  • very good thermal insulation,
  • high resistance of wall and roof panel joints
    driving rain,
  • high tightness of the joints of wall and roof panels
    air and water vapor penetration,
  • easy and quick assembly,
  • proportionally low cost of the investment carried out in
    compared to classic construction methods,
  • high aesthetics and variety of colors and textures
    facing.

Application of sandwich panels

Paneltech sandwich panels are used in construction, among others:

  • industrial production and commercial halls,
  • warehouses,
  • office and service complexes,
  • containers,
  • agricultural and food industry facilities,
  • cold and frosty,
  • roofing of objects.

Panel cores

The core of sandwich panels can be:

  • made of rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam with a density of 40 kg/m³ or 35 kg/m3 (LITE),
  • made of mineral wool with a density of 100 kg/m3 and 85 kg/m3 (LITE),
  • made of polystyrene with a density of 12.5 kg/m3 produced by our own production.

Panel joints

The joints of the sandwich panels are shaped in a way that guarantees high tightness, ease of installation and the possibility of introducing additional sealing mass during installation, preventing gas infiltration and ensuring watertightness. Paneltech wall panels are produced with two types of hoints – standard with a visible joint and with a hidden joint.

technical data of sandwich panels

  • Thickness of wall sandwich panels: from 40 mm to 200 mm,
  • Thickness of roof sandwich panels: from 40 mm to 200 mm,
  • Modular width of wall sandwich panels: 1130 mm (optionally 1000 mm or 1050 mm),
  • Modular width of roof sandwich panels: 1050 mm,
  • Heat transfer coefficient Uc – 0.22 [W/m2K] for a standard 10 cm (100 mm) PIR-core wall panel up to 0.14 [W/m2K] for a 16 cm (160 mm) PIR-core roof panel,
  • Fire resistance – from EI 60 for PWW-S LITE wall panels to REI 120 for PWW-D mineral wool core roof panels, and even EI 240 for 180 and 200 mm thick PWW-S mineral wool wall panel.
The profiling of sandwich panel is intended to emphasize aesthetic values as well as increase stiffness. Depending on the type of panel, various variants of profiling are available on both sides. The depth of profiling is approximately 1 mm. The exception is the external facing of the roof panels, which has an individual trapezoidal T profile, approximately 2 mm deep.
